Some Disney Tips!

Here are just a few tips on how to make the most of your Walt Disney World Vacation!

Let's start with Magic Kingdom:

Magic Kingdom:

Are you a Military Veteran? If so, let me say “Thank you!!!”....but also, let me tell you this....if you stop by City Hall, as soon as you enter the park, ask them if you can be the Veteran of the Day. If they have not chosen one already, you just may be selected to assist in the Flag Retreat Ceremony (5pm). And, if you are the lucky just might receive a commemorative certificate for your participation!

If you have a little one who might be experiencing “Goofy’s Barnstormer” (the kiddie rollercoaster in Toon Town) for the first time, make sure to let the Cast Member know before they get on, and they might just give you a fun treat....for being so brave!

And while you are in Toon Town, make sure pay a visit to the Big know...the one you came all of this way to see!!! When you go through Mickey’s house, you will have fun seeing all of his “stuff”...but don’t miss the Judge’s Tent at the end! This will be, by far, your BEST shot of seeing him, and having a little one-on-one time!

This is a great adventure, especially for older kids!
If you can catch the first raft over to Tom Sawyer’s Island (raft usually departs around 10am), you can embark on an adventure...for you and the entire family. As you are on the trails, make sure you are watching for Tom’s paint brushes covered in dried paint. (hint: usually about 6 hidden per day). If you are a lucky hunter and find such a brush, take it to the nearest Disney Cast Member and they will reward you for your superior searching skills! The best part is that you will receive a certificate, awarding you with “Magical Memories”...and this certificate is valid for ONE FastPass for your entire family to ride your choice: Splash Mountain OR Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Very fun!

There are NO restrooms in Liberty Square. This is to keep the representation in the ear after which it was modeled.

Disney Pin Trading. Did you know?

Did you know that Disney Pin Trading is one of the hottest "attractions" at Walt Disney World?

Not only do people come from all over, just to trade pins, but, it is one of their best selling souvenirs! Now, that is fun news!

Here's an inside tip: If you see a Cast Member with a GREEN Pin Lanyard, they will only trade with children 12 and under! Now, how exciting is that?! Very!! They can help your little one find that "must have" pin, or they can teach them the ropes if they are just getting started!

And, usually, those Cast Members will help them with some "Disney Pin Trading Secrets" and maybe even share with them a Cast Member pin....featuring a hidden mickey!

Ok, so, what are you waiting for? Start trading!

Disney Dream is afloat!!!

October 30,2010. A Disney Dream became a reality as they floated it out of the construction dock.

I can only imagine the ooh's and aah's that came from the crowd that morning. What a glorious sight!!!

As the Disney Dream made it's appearance, there were thousands in line waiting to catch a glimpse. After all, this is the first ship of it's kind, hosting a water coaster at sea, as long as many other firsts in the cruise industry.

Disney Cruise Line was NOT named Number 1 for no reason, you know :)

Of course, no member of the Disney Cruise Line fleet could have their "floatout" without a special appearance from Mickey Mouse himself, along with a spectacular fireworks display!!!

Now, just a week or two more, for the ship to receive it's final touches and the Disney Dream is scheduled to leave the shipyard. The plan is that the ship will be conveyed down the River Ems to the North Sea at the port of Eemshaven, The Netherlands, during the second weekend in November. The ship’s maiden voyage is scheduled for Jan. 26, 2011, sailing from Port Canaveral, Fla.

Email us today, if you would like to take part any of the first sailings of the Disney Dream! I know I do!!!

Disney Dream - Spectacle at Sea

Oh, when I saw this video, my heart jumped up and down!

I had to watch it a second time, because I know that this will be one of those vacations that we remember for years and years! The excitement, the thrill....the Magic!!!!

The entertainment factor of Disney Cruise Line is second to none! I continue to be amazed at the "imagineer" overload of the shows, the restaurants, the special events! Oh my! Oh my!

So, as the Disney Dream Maiden Voyage is drawing closer and closer, we will try to keep you updated on the news!

I mean, did you catch that! A new and improved "Mickey's Pirates in the Caribbean"!!!

How fun!
I love the concept of Club Pirate, and making sure that the adults can be kids-at-heart! I mean, after all, if you are on the Disney Dream, then certainly you have some "fun" left in you!
And, then the Buccaneer Blast! Amazing. I love the fact that Disney Cruise Line still holds the title of being the ONLY Cruise Line to do Fireworks at Sea....and we are proud of it!

So, for this to be even better.....well, then WOW! I can't wait!!!

The Maiden Voyage is drawing near....but until then.....

Bon Voyage!

Tuesday, October 26, 2010

Wow! It is such a great feeling to help a family plan their Magical Vacation Package to Walt Disney World......but it is EVEN greater when they email you something like this:

Thank you so much for planning our vacation. We could not have been more pleased with the restaurant selections, etc. Thank you for making reservations that worked well for our families. I also appreciate how you scheduled our activities. It was so nice not running from one park to another. We were able to maximize our time. We will definitely call you again. This exciting news comes just in time for Disney's new movie, Tangled. Tangled opens in theaters on November 24, 2010.

The lovely-locks couples made their debut in Disneyland, on October 16th...and their welcome was very warm!

It's so fun to have them in the parks, with the guests! I can't wait to meet them myself!
