It's a small world--The nursery on the Disney Dream

So, I would love to do a bazillion posts on all of the lovelies on the Disney Dream.....but, I am not quite sure I will ever get it all done.....so, I will do my best!

I want to start with this one. The nursery.

I mean, I know it is silly, but, this is the cutest little nursery in the world. (pun absolutely intended).

So many families will board the Disney Dream, and they will have little ones, that they want to put in the nursery. Rest assured they will be well loved.

Every little detail is taken care of, from the changing station, to the hand washing, and the cribs. This is a little slice of Heaven.

The theme, It's a Small World, could not be more fitting...and more inviting!

Disney Dream - Shopping!!!

I always try to tell people, don't forget to try to think of EVERYTHING you might need. After all, you will be ON a SHIP....not in a city. Not near a CVS or Target!

HOWEVER, the Gift Shop, might just have what you need, and a little bit more :)

Yes, look at all of this goodness in the Gift Shop! Not only do they have a little "first aid" center with all of the things that you might need while onboard, but they also have all of this Disney Goodness!

The cutest little things you have ever seen! I am sure that every little Princess or Pirate in your family can find something that their heart desires in here!

I know I did!

Disney Dream - Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah!

Oh, my goodness!!! Be still my heart! When I walked in the door, I was in love!!!!

Now, if you have NEVER cruised....you need to imagine a VERY tiny space. And, then...think tinier! Really. Cruise Staterooms are NOT large. Ever. But, remember, you are on a ship. Space IS limited.

HOWEVER, I always LOVE Disney Cruise Line Staterooms. They are always a little more plush, and a little more spacious. And, these rooms, well, they are NO exception.

The wood finish. The custom artwork. The private verandah. Ahhh, peace at it's finest. Right here.

It is made to sleep 3 or 4.
Approx. 246 sq feet.
  • Room Configuration: Queen-size bed, single convertible sofa, upper berth pull-down bed if sleeping 4, split bath with tub and shower
  • View: Private verandah
A split bath, with tub and shower!!!! A pure luxury on a cruise! Separate sinks that allow for multiple people to use the space at the same time. One bathroom includes a vanity, sink and full tub/shower, while the half bath has a vanity, sink and toilet.

And, here are some of the many amenities I enjoyed!
Amenities
  • Sealy Posturepedic® Premium Plush Euro-top mattresses
  • Frette 100% Egyptian cotton linens
  • Premium bath towels
  • 22" LCD flat screen TV on swivel arm with remote control
  • iPod Docking Station
  • Full-length mirror
  • Ample closet space
  • Refrigerator
  • In-room safe
  • Hair dryer
  • Phone with voice-mail messaging
  • Individual climate control
  • Couch
  • Desk
  • Chair
  • Privacy curtain

Animator's Palate --on the Disney Dream

Oh, the love of Animator's Palate! This is one of the Dining Rooms on the Disney Dream, and I was looking so forward to the cuteness of this restaurant.

When I walked in and just saw the chairs.....I was DONE. Do you hear me?! D.O.N.E!!!

Then, the butter knife! Oh my goodness in the world! This knife. A paint brush.

These are the little details that I love the most about everything Disney!

Then, moving on to the food! Oh, the food was fabulous! I had a tenderloin....and honestly, I never order a steak...or really anything like that....and I NEVER order medium.....but this was fantastic!

We have arrived on the Disney Dream!

This was the sight from our Magical Express transportation as we approached the terminal in Port Canaveral...on our way to the Disney Dream!!

The smoke stacks make me so happy, and as I was approaching them, I could almost hear the horn playing "When you wish upon a star"..... (more on that later!)

We dashed thru security and into the terminal. Quick checkin...first stop.....photo opp with Mickey Mouse!

I love how the terminal is busy....with everyone getting checked in, showing proof of citizenship...gathering their documents...and even a few little ones might be having a breakdown!!

But......in just a few short minutes, when we go thru those big Yellow Ears..all of that won't matter one bit!!

Disney Dream.....don't worry......we are on our way!

    Main Street Electrical Parade

When I was little, and we went to Walt Disney World, we would always wait until the end of the night, find a spot near the curb, my dad would go get some popcorn for the three of us to share (never really worked out, because my brother would steal mine...) and we would wait anxiously....very anxiously for the parade to start.

I can remember that they used to come over the loud speaker and say "the parade will be begin in 10 minutes".......oh my goodness. that was the longest 10 minutes EVER!!!

Anyways, when the announced that they were bringing this parade back.......I was so super excited. And, then even more excited when I realized it would be showing during our visit to Walt Disney World in January.

So, of course, we found our spot......no popcorn involved......and waited. I am not sure who was more excited....the boys...or me! But, here it is!

    Testimonial

I just spotted this on a friend's facebook page....

"Brittney made my trip to Disney much, much easier and more enjoyable. I suppose that's to be expected when you have a travel agent. The really cool thing was she did it cheaper than me booking it myself on Disney's website. That's hard to beat! Thanks Brittney!"

    The Disney Dream has arrived!

(photo borrowed from Disney Parks blog)

Look at the cuteness! Mickey and Minnie watching their Dream sail in.

The Disney Dream that is. The Disney Dream made it's way home to Port Canaveral where it will dock for a few days, and then set sail on her maiden voyage, January 26,2011.

The Disney Dream is home to the world's only, newest, latest, greatest Aqua Duck, the ship's water roller coaster. Ohhhhh, just watching that clear tunnel shoot of the edge of that ship scares me to death, but my boys squeal with excitement....my youngest even said "Mom, it's gonna feel like we are about to sink!!" Ummmmm......

Back on task. Back on task.

The Disney Dream begins 3 and 4 day voyages in January 2011. Call us today to book yours!
