Some Disney Tips!

Here are just a few tips on how to make the most of your Walt Disney World Vacation!

Let's start with Magic Kingdom:

Magic Kingdom:

Are you a Military Veteran? If so, let me say “Thank you!!!”....but also, let me tell you this....if you stop by City Hall, as soon as you enter the park, ask them if you can be the Veteran of the Day. If they have not chosen one already, you just may be selected to assist in the Flag Retreat Ceremony (5pm). And, if you are the lucky one...you just might receive a commemorative certificate for your participation!

If you have a little one who might be experiencing “Goofy’s Barnstormer” (the kiddie rollercoaster in Toon Town) for the first time, make sure to let the Cast Member know before they get on, and they might just give you a fun treat....for being so brave!

And while you are in Toon Town, make sure pay a visit to the Big Mouse....you know...the one you came all of this way to see!!! When you go through Mickey’s house, you will have fun seeing all of his “stuff”...but don’t miss the Judge’s Tent at the end! This will be, by far, your BEST shot of seeing him, and having a little one-on-one time!

This is a great adventure, especially for older kids!
If you can catch the first raft over to Tom Sawyer’s Island (raft usually departs around 10am), you can embark on an adventure...for you and the entire family. As you are on the trails, make sure you are watching for Tom’s paint brushes covered in dried paint. (hint: usually about 6 hidden per day). If you are a lucky hunter and find such a brush, take it to the nearest Disney Cast Member and they will reward you for your superior searching skills! The best part is that you will receive a certificate, awarding you with “Magical Memories”...and this certificate is valid for ONE FastPass for your entire family to ride your choice: Splash Mountain OR Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Very fun!

There are NO restrooms in Liberty Square. This is to keep the representation in the ear after which it was modeled.
