Park Hopper? Or Base Ticket?

What is the difference in a Base Ticket and a Park Hopper?

A base ticket is the ticket that allows you to get in to ONE park. Period.

One park each day.

All day. In and out of THAT SAME park.

For example, if you go into Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, then decide you want to go back to your resort and take a nap. When you are ready to go back into the park, you have to go back to MAGIC KINGDOM only that day. Because that is the park you started at, and that is the ONLY park you can go to all day.

So, that brings us to our next topic:

What is the "hopper" option for?

The hopper option allows you to go in and out of each park, as many times as you want. Every day. All day.

Truly there are no limits on this one, where the Disney Parks are concerned.

Your legs and feet might differ ;0

Question...Do I NEED the hopper option?

Truthfully, if you have NEVER been before, then probably not. Because quite honestly, it takes you all day to see every park.
Now, that being said, if you decide to go into the parks on the 5th or 6th day of your stay, then you might consider that option, so that you can go back and hit the highlights and then "hop" to another park.

But...if you just want to save some $$, this is also a great way to do it. Don't get the "hopper" and just get the "base" ticket, and you can save a pretty sum of $$!
