Beginning July 11th, 2016, Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter's food court, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory will be closed for a remodel.

It is set to re-open in Fall 2016, but no date/month has been released yet.

Scat Cat's Lounge will be open and available for guests to purchase the gumbo, jambalaya, many other offerings: hot and cold...and no worries!
The beignets are not going anywhere!!!! Yes! You will still be able to get those!

If you want to venture over to Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, you can walk, or bus transportation will be offered during the closure (7am until midnight).

We are a little bit excited about this closing, because we are pretty fond of Sassagoula Floatworks already...so if something better is coming...then yay!!!!

Extra Magic Hours

What are Extra Magic Hours:

Morning: 1 hour early

Tiana's Place is coming to the Disney Wonder

While the Disney Wonder is in dry dock, one of the many changes is Tiana's Place!

The Princess and the Frog is the magnificent inspiration for this location. Complete with a southern-style menu, while surrounded by the sights and sounds of New Orleans jazz.

This new spot is certain to transport guests on board, straight the bayou, while sparking a toe-tapping pep in their step!

And, as a side note, I really hope their are Mickey Shaped beignets on the dessert menu :)

What is FastPass+?

What is a FastPass+?

Think of it is a "VIP reservation" for the attraction of your choice!
It allows you to choose 3 rides/attractions in advance, and byass the standby line.

It is designed in 1 hour incriments.

I will use "It's a Small World" for the purpose of this article.

If you choose a FastPass+ for It's a Small World, you will have to also select a time.
If you choose 1pm, then you are actually choosing 1pm-2pm.

You will be able to make another FastPass+ selection for anytime that day, however, it cannot overlap the 1pm-2pm time slot.

How much does it cost?

FastPass+ is included in your park admission.
If you are a guest at a Walt Disney World resort, you will be able to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance.

If you are not a Walt Disney World resort guest,  you will be able to make your FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance.

Will you make these selections for me?

Yes! Absolutely! Because you have booked your Disney Vacation with Main Street Memories! Yes, we absolutely will!
We are also happy to help you line those up, in proximity, so you are not running all over the parks, "chasing" a FastPass+, nor missing your dining reservations!

What happens after I have used the 3 I have pre-selected?

You will be able to chose another one! After you have used the first 3, or the time on them has passed....you can make another selection...from the mobile app, or you can visit one of the kiosks in the park, and a Cast Member can assist you!

What if I miss a FastPass+? Am I penalized?

No, you are not! That just goes away, and you will be able to choose another one, after you have used the first 3, or the time on them has passed.
